Williams Venker & Sanders partners, Theodore Williams, Paul Venker, Robert Bassett and Steve Sanders have been named by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers as four of the top attorneys in the area for 2013.
Venker was recognized, for the seventh straight year, in the areas of personal injury defense, medical malpractice law and employment and labor.
Sanders, named for his work in product liability defense, has been listed since 2006.
Since 2005, Williams has been named a Super Lawyer in the area of civil litigation-defense.
Bassett has been listed in Super Lawyers since 2011, where he is recognized for his work in personal injury defense, products liability, and transportation law.
Additionally, partners Lucy Unger and Patrick Chavez made repeat appearances on the list of Super Lawyer “Rising Stars.”
Unger was named for the second time and Chavez was named for the third.
Also on the list was associate John Mahon, Jr. This is the fourth consecutive year that Mahon has been listed with “Rising Stars,” where he was recognized for medical malpractice and general personal injury defense.
