A woman has filed suit against the man who she claims failed to repay her the more than $60,000 she loaned to him.
Deborah J. McVey alleges she lent defendant Donald Chatham $30,000 on April 6, 2012. Again, on June 15, 2012, McVey lent Chatham an additional $34,000, which he promised to repay her, according to the complaint filed Aug. 19 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Although McVey has made numerous requests that Chatham repay her, he has failed to do so, the suit states.
In her complaint, McVey is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
