A woman says she was bitten by a dog while visiting family in Belleville.
Charlotte A. Harriman filed a lawsuit against Melodie McNeely March 28 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Harriman says she was at her sister's house in the 2000 block of Dublin Boulevard on February 3 when she was bitten by McNeely's dog. Harriman accuses McNeely of violating Illinois' Animal Control Act. She asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills and court costs.
