The law firm of Unsell & Schattnik has announced that Erin M. Phillips has been named a partner of the law firm.
The firm will now be known as Unsell, Schattnik & Phillips and will continue to operate at its current location at 3 S. 6th St. in Wood River.
Unsell, Schattnik & Phillips provides clients with the benefits of extensive litigation experience in trial, appellate and arbitration matters covering most areas of law.
The firm handles a variety of civil and criminal matters for individuals, municipalities and corporations within Illinois state courts as well as in various federal district and appellate courts in both Illinois and Missouri.
In addition to Phillips, other firm membrs include Jane Unsell, Dan Schattnik and Meghan Zenker.
Phillips graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2006 and became a member of the Illinois Bar the same year, followed by admittance to the bar for the Southern District of Illinois. She also holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management from Webster University and a B.S. in Business Administration from SIUE.
Phillips has been with the firm since 2006 and focuses her practice on civil litigation, including personal injury, insurance defense and workers' compensation matters.
Phillips is a 1994 graduate of East Alton Wood River High School and now resides in Bethalto.
