A St. Clair County mans says he was rear-ended by another driver while tying to make a left turn in Prairie Du Long.
Richard Burgess Sr. filed a lawsuit Nov. 7 against Carolyn Keebler in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Burgess says he was driving north on Illinois Highway 159 on Oct. 18 when he slowed down to make a left turn onto North Floraville Road. Burgess claims he was hit from behind by a car being driven by Keebler. Burgess says he was hurt in the crash.
Burgess accuses Keebler of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court costs.
He is represented by attorney Bruce R. Cook of Belleville.
