Romney-Ryan ticket is better choice

T0 The Editor:

The election this November is the must important in my lifetime.

The choice is clear. We must stop the decline and restore the promise of America.

Under Obama:

Reckless spending increased our national debt from $5 trillion to $16 trillion total.

Twenty-three million Americans are out of work and many millions more are underemployed, or have given up looking for work. Unemployment has been above 8 percent throughout Obama's term.

Gasoline prices increased from $1.85 per gallon to $3.99 per gallon during Obama's term. He refuses to let us drill in many off-shore areas or on federal lands, and will not permit the Keystone pipeline from Canada.

Obama policies have hurt the economy by constantly attempting to raise taxes on job creators and excessive regulation of businesses. Businesses are reluctant to expand because of this uncertainty and anti-business attitude. In the last six months, Obama has had 106 fund-raiser, but has not met with his Jobs Council a single time.

Obama has failed to enforce the immigration laws, pandering to extreme groups that favor open borders. He is even running radio ads in Spanish to urge illegals to sign up for food stamps.

Food stamp recipients have doubled to 40 million under the Obama administration wrecking crew.

Obamacare is the largest tax increase in world history, occurring in multiple forms, including raiding the cash strapped Medicare fund of $716 billion. Many medical decisions are taken away from patients and their doctors and will he made by the secretary of Health & Human Services and bureaucrats of the Independent Payment Advisory
Board. For example, the Beard may decide that you are too old for hip or knee surgery.

Obamacare will lower the quality of medicine.

Mitt Romney offers us a much better choice. Romney said, "We have a moral responsibility not to spend more than we take in."

Romney favors a fairer, flatter, simpler tax system. He will cut red tape to stimulate business and the ee« nomy. He favors open trading markets that work for America. He supports a vigorous energy policy to develop our energy in all forms. He would have a smaller, simpler, smarter government.

The Romney-Ryan team would get our economy growing rapidly again and restore limited constitutional government.
