A St. Clair County woman is suing the driver of the car that she claims rear-ended her while driving in Washington Park.
Alison R. Storm filed the lawsuit May 3 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Raymond Woods Jr.
Storm says she was driving her Hyundai Santa Fe south on I-255 in May 2010. She claims she was stopped because of traffic near the I-64 junction when Woods allegedly ran his Chrysler Town & Country into the back of her.
Storm says she was hurt in the crash and accuses Woods of negligence. She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and costs of the lawsuit.
Attorney Thomas B. Cannady of Belleville represents Storm. They ask for a jury trial.
