Driver claims he was re-injured in Alton accident

A Madison County driver is asking to be paid more than $50,000 after a rear-end crash in Alton.

David Generally filed the complaint April 9 in Madison County Circuit Court against Jennifer Malczewski.

Generally says the alleged crash happened on Oakwood Avenue near the intersection of Golf Road in Alton in June 2010. As Generally was stopped at the intersection, he says Maczewski's vehicle "negligently collided with the rear" of his.

Generally says the impact of the crash caused new injuries to his back, hips and right leg and aggravated pre-existing conditions. He says he has suffered pain and suffering and will continue to permanently.

Generally accuses Maczewski of "carelessly and negligently" driving her vehicle at an excessive rate of speed and failing to take the necessary steps to avoid the collision. He asking to be awarded more than $50,000 as compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering.
