A Wood River woman says she was hurt when another driver turned in front of her and crashed into her car.
Terri McGuiggan filed a lawsuit against Diane Stortz March 26 in Madison County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, McGuiggan was driving west on Edwardsville Road in Wood River in May 2011. As she entered the intersection of Wood River Avenue, McGuiggan claims Stortz, driving east on Edwardsville Road, tried to turn in front of her. Stortz allegedly crashed into McGuiggan's vehicle..
McGuiggan accuses Stortz of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and court fees.
