Jennifer Kunze entered her appearance Dec. 15 as attorney for Smeetz Inc., doing business as Big Daddy's Disco Diner, which was incorrectly sued as Big Daddy's 618.
Big Daddy's Disco Diner is named in a personal injury lawsuit after a woman claimed she was pinned to a wall after a patron at a Belleville bar started a fight.
Lenora D. Ackman filed suit Nov. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Ackman claims she was at Big Daddy's July 18 when two allegedly drunk patrons started a fight.
"A patron was pushed into the table where plaintiff was sitting, smashing the table into plaintiff and pinning her against the wall," the suit states.
Because of the incident, Ackman sustained temporary and permanent injuries, incurred medical costs and was prevented from attending to her normal activities, the suit states.
Ackman is seeking more than $50,000 plus costs.
The case was assigned to St. Clair County Judge Lloyd Cueto on Dec. 6.
Lanny Darr of Schrempf, Kelly, Napp and Darr in Alton will represent Ackman.
