A Millstadt woman is suing the driver of a car that allegedly rear-ended her while she was stopped for a train in Belleville.
Kelly J. Goodlett filed the lawsuit Nov. 15 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Adam Stevens King.
Goodlett says she was stopped at a railroad crossing on Frank Scott Parkway in November 2009 when she was allegedly hit from behind by King. She says the impact of the crash caused serious injuries to her back.
Goodlett accuses King of negligence and is asking for more than $50,000 in damages to compensate for medical expenses, lost wages and court fees.
