ST. LOUIS - Laura B. Callahan, a veteran marketing executive with expertise in financial services, hospitality, pharmaceuticals and beverage industries, has joined the Gallop law firm as marketing director with responsibility for developing and executing marketing, branding and business development strategies.

Callahan brings 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations and event management to Gallop, including nearly a decade as an interactive marketing specialist.

Her responsibilities at Gallop will include integrating interactive marketing tools such as online advertising and viral marketing strategies with traditional public relations, marketing and event planning initiatives to broaden awareness of Gallop, which introduced a new logo and graphic identity earlier this year.

Before joining Gallop, Callahan held positions in marketing for KV Pharmaceutical, Fisher Investments, Inc. and the former Adam's Mark Hotel in St. Louis. In addition, she worked as a public relations, marketing and interactive communications consultant for leading St. Louis-based corporations.

Callahan is an alumna of the University of Maryland campus in Munich, Germany, where she earned a B.A. in marketing. She serves on the Mother's Club committee for Chaminade College Preparatory School in suburban Ladue in addition to volunteering with St. Louis-based charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
