A Madison County woman wants to be paid $100,000 after the car she was riding in was allegedly rear-ended.
Tina E. Rawlings filed a lawsuit Sept. 30 in Madison County Circuit Court against Donald W. Gueldener and Ronnie J. Govero.
According to the lawsuit, Rawlings was a passenger in a car being driven by Govero on May 19. Rawlings says they were driving south on Illinois Highway 159 in Moro Township when they were allegedly hit from behind by a car driven by Gueldener.
Rawlings accuses Gueldener and Govero of negligence and asks for a judgment of more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court costs.
Attorney Gregory M. Tobin of East Alton is representing Rawlings.
