Attorney Hargraves joins GJN as associate

Attorney Julia M. Hargraves has joined Gallop, Johnson & Neuman, L.C. as a new associate in the firm's Business Law Department. Hargraves will focus her practice on corporate governance, commercial transactions, insurance matters and business services.

Managing partner Thomas J. Campbell said, "Julia Hargraves is an accomplished young attorney whose professional skills will complement Gallop's Business Law Department and our firm's client service."

Hargraves earned her J.D. degree from the University of Missouri School of Law after earning a B.A. degree magna cum laude with honors in English at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In law school Hargraves was a published member and a Note and Comment editor of Missouri Law Review.

In addition, she received the William J. Esely Memorial Scholarship, the Kenner & Kavanaugh Scholarship, and the Curator's Scholarship, earned highest grade honors in two legal research and writing courses and insurance Law, and received Dean's List honors.

Hargraves served as judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Missouri for the Honorable Zel M. Fischer for two years in the state capital of Jefferson City and, previously, worked as an extern for Mid-Missouri Legal Services and as a law clerk at a leading law firm in Columbia. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
