A Madison County woman is suing the driver of the car that allegedly crashed into her in Wood River.
Aspen M. Burger filed a lawsuit against Bettyjo Stauffer July 20 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Burger says she was a passenger in a car driving north on Sixth Street in January 2010. At the intersection of Acton Avenue. Stauffer, who was reportedly driving east, allegedly crashed into the vehicle Burger was riding in.
Burger says she was injured as a result of the collision. She accuses Stauffer of negligence and asks for a judgment of more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees.
