A woman claims she received neck, shoulder and low back injuries after a driver backed into her vehicle at a Jack in the Box drive thru.

Lisa Gish filed a lawsuit June 17 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Terry L. Wray.

In her complaint, Gish claims she was driving through the Jack in the Box drive-thru located at 1360 West Highway in O'Fallon on April 30 when Wray, who drove backwards in the same drive-thru, struck her vehicle.

In addition to her injuries, Gish became sick, sore, lame, disordered and disabled and incurred medical costs, the suit states. She also suffered disability, experienced pain and suffering and lost wages, the complaint says.

Gish blames Wray for causing the collision, saying he negligently failed to keep a proper lookout, struck the front of Gish's vehicle, failed to properly apply his brakes, drove too fast and failed to properly back up his vehicle.

In her complaint, Gish seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.

Thomas C. Rich and Kristina D. Cooksey of Fairview Heights will be representing her.
