Two St. Clair County women are suing the driver of the car that allegedly backed into them in the McDonald's drive-through.
Quadiciana Paige and Brittany Small filed a lawsuit June 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Danny G. Ederer.
Paige and Small say they were waiting in the drive-through at a Sparta McDonald's restaurant in May 2010. They say the car ahead of them, driven by Ederer, backed into them. Paige and Small say they were hurt in the crash.
Paige and Small are suing Ederer for negligence and ask for an unspecified amount of money in damages for medical expenses and court costs.
The women are represented by attorney David N. Damick of St. Louis.
