By Andrea Dearden | Jun 2, 2011

A Jerseyville woman is suing the driver of a car that allegedly rear-ended her in Godfrey.

Jeanne K Ramsey filed a lawsuit May 25 in Madison County Circuit Court against Brian Teasley.

Ramsey says she was driving north on U.S. 67 in June 2009. As she neared the intersection of Godfrey Road, Ramsey alleges Teasley hit her from behind. The woman says the force of the collision caused injuries to her neck and back.

Ramsey accuses Teasley of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and court costs.

She is represented by attorney Bob L. Perica of Wood River.
