A woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her vehicle.
Jessica Kent claims she stopped her vehicle facing south on Frank Scott Parkway West in St. Clair County on April 9, 2009, when defendant Bernard Wicklein rear-ended her vehicle.
Because of the collision, Kent sustained severe, permanent and painful injuries and incurred medical costs, according to the complaint filed April 8 in St. Clair County Circuit Court. In addition, she lost wages, the suit states.
Wicklein negligently collided with the rear of Kent's vehicle, failed to yield the right-of-way, drove too fast and failed to keep a proper lookout, the complaint says.
In her complaint, Kent is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
