A Madison County woman is suing the driver of a car she says crashed into her in Granite City.
Cynthia S. Burnett filed the complaint against Sean M. Courtney Dec. 22 in Madison County Circuit Court.
In her complaint, Burnett claims she was driving north on Maryville Road in Granite City when she tried to turn left onto Parkview Drive. Burnett says that's when Courtney crashed into her.
Burnett accuses Courtney of negligence and is asking him to pay more than $50,000 to cover the cost of damages, lost wages and court costs.
Burnett is represented by attorney Gregory M. Tobin of East Alton.
