A Madison County woman is suing the driver of a car that she says rear-ended her on the highway.
Karen R. Karraker and Randy Karraker filed a lawsuit against Leroy A. Rolston Jr. Nov. 12 in Madison County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Karen Karraker was driving westbound on Route 162 in Maryville in her Chevrolet Tahoe when Rolston allegedly crashed into the back of her, causing various injuries and damaging the Tahoe.
The Karrakers are suing Rolston for negligence and loss of consortium. They ask for $150,000 to cover the cost of injuries, lost wages, the loss of the vehicle and court fees. Attorney H. Carl Runge Jr. of Collinsville represents the Karrakers in this matter.
