Two Madison County men are suing a salvage yard after allegedly being run over while looking for auto parts.
Dennis Childers and Alvin Denton filed the lawsuit against Speedway Salvage Inc. Nov. 4 in Madison County Circuit Court.
In the complaint, Childers and Denton say they were pulling parts from a salvage vehicle in May when one of the yard's employees drove over their legs and feet with a yard car.
Denton and Childers are each asking for $50,000 in damages to compensate for their injuries, medical costs and court fees.
They are represented by attorneys Thomas C. Rich and Kristina D. Cooksey of Fairview Heights.
