A second attorney has bowed out of a suit brought by a pregnant woman who claims a Wal-Mart employee battered her, injuring her unborn child.
Madison County Circuit Judge Dennis Ruth allowed attorney Ronald Foster Jr. to leave the case Friday.
Plaintiff Jamira Haas, who is also known in court records by other names, has 21 days to either find a new attorney or file with the Circuit Clerk's office.
A case management conference is set for October.
Foster Jr. is the second attorney to leave the suit.
Haas's original attorney, John Turner, stopped representing her in May.
Haas is suing Wal-Mart and its employee Jason O'Malley for more than $400,000 in damages.
The plaintiff claims that O'Malley followed her out of a Wal-Mart
store, alleging that she had shop-lifted.
The suit claims O'Malley battered the plaintiff and threw her to the ground causing unspecified injuries to her unborn child.
Wal-Mart is named as O'Malley's employer.
The suit claims the company did not properly train O'Malley.
Neither Wal-Mart nor O'Malley has an attorney listed in the case as yet.
The case is Madison case number 10-L-129.
