If Carr is to be sanctioned, so should Tillery

To the Editor:

In a comical situation, U.S. District Judge David Herndon has sanctioned East St. Louis attorney Rex Carr to the tune of $635k for being "out of control."

Carr is alleged to have sued his ex-law partners in suits described as being "very weak," "feeble,"and "desperate." These terms can also be used to describe lawsuits filed by his ex-law partners, Tillery LLC. Prime examples are the Phillip Morris tobacco and the present atrazine lawsuits. It is not only Carr who is "out of control," the whole U.S. judicial system is out of control.

If Carr is to be sanctioned by Herndon, then it is equity that Tillery LLC be sanctioned for filing frivolous lawsuits also.

The U.S. judicial system has been hijacked by judges and lawyers that have no conception of what justice and equity are. They have been abrogated by stare decisis. Civil courts (including the U.S. Supreme Court) have become arenas of extortion. U.S. kangaroo courts have become as much a threat to the peace and tranquility of this nation as Al Queda.

The formation of numerous militias and the new Tea Party are a wake up call to the courts that many residents are fed up with corrupt government (including the courts) and the time has come to overthrow (peacefully) a threatening U.S. judicial system. The U.S. Constitution will have to be rewritten to put down this threat.
