A bank has filed suit against the Edwardsville man who it says defaulted on more than $50,000 in credit payments.
Chase Bank USA claims Seth G. Redman entered into a credit card retail installment credit agreement with Chase.
However, since then, Redman has defaulted on making payments and now owes Chase $51,882.72, according to the complaint filed Sept. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Even though Chase has demanded payment, Redman has refused to reimburse it.
In its complaint, Chase is seeking the money it says it is due, plus costs.
