A woman who says a dissolved company and two Highland residents owe her more than $60,000 after failing to make payments on a promissory note is suing them.

Elizabeth A. Jacober filed a lawsuit Aug. 4 in Madison County Circuit Court against DPTP, Dennis Price and Theresa Price.

Jacober claims DPTP executed a promissory note on June 22, 2004, for $62,528.62. At the same time, Dennis and Theresa Price signed onto the note, guaranteeing it would be paid in full, according to the complaint.

However, DPTP and the Prices have failed to make the required payments and still owe the complete sum of money they borrowed, the suit states.

In addition to the money she says she is due, Jacober is seeking pre- and post-judgment interest at the prime rate as defined by the Wall Street Journal plus 1 percent, attorney's fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.

Matthew A. Jacober of Lathrop and Gage in St. Louis will be representing her.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-808.
