Jessica L. Fetters has filed suit against Timothy W. Redman, alleging her head, neck, spine, lumbar spine, shoulder and soft tissue was injured after a collision.
Fetters was driving east on Route 15 in Belleville on Oct. 25, 2006, according to the complaint filed Oct. 22 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Redman was driving a 1997 GMC Safari van pulling a trailer carrying machinery at the same time, the suit states.
Fetters claims Redman exited from Latinette Lane and was crossing Route 15 when he collided with the left front and side of her vehicle.
In addition to her injuries, Fetters spent a substantial amount on medical costs, according to the complaint.
Redman was negligent because he failed to yield, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop in order to avoid a collision, the suit states.
Fetters is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
