Blaine E. Finnegan claims he did not provoke a beating by employees of Larry Flynt's Hustler Club in Washington Park last year, according to a suit filed May 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Finnegan claims the incident, which caused him to suffer permanent disfigurement, occurred at 2:25 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2007.
Seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages, Finnegan claims that Hustler Club employee Dave E. Roe and several other employees negligently used excessive force in attempting to restrain him.
Finnegan claims medical bills, pain, loss of normal life and lost income.
