Kenneth M. Wilkerson of Clinton County, an employee of Holtgrave Distributing, is suing Landshire Inc. of Belleville for "icy accumulations" at a delivery site in Sharonville, Ohio.
According to a suit filed Jan. 29 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Wilkerson was delivering food products on Feb. 21, 2007, when he apparently fell on ice.
He claims Landshire allowed the accumulation of ice over a surface he was required to walk on in order to complete his deliveries. He also claims Landshire failed to correct the accumulation of ice even after he complained about it.
Wilkerson, represented by Robert C. Nelson of Nelson & Nelson in Belleville, claims numerous parts of his body and nervous system were injured.
He is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages.
