The Cregger Company, Inc. is seeking to recover $223,218.11, plus interest and costs, from Webb's Plumbing, LLC over an unpaid balance due.

According to a lawsuit filed Dec. 27 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Cregger provided plumbing, heating, industrial and other goods and supplies to Webb's, but the amount owed has not been paid.

"Plaintiff further alleges that due demand was made on the Defendant to pay this amount on December 3, 2007, via certified mail, return receipt requested and regular U.S. mail, and that the Defendant has failed and refused to pay said balance due and has materially breached the agreement," the complaint states.

Cregger is represented by Deanna L. Litzenburg and Shannon K. Cook of Mathis, Marifian, Richter & Grandy in Belleville.
