An East St. Louis woman representing herself filed suit against a Cahokia minor and her parents for damages in excess of $100,000.
In a handwritten, one-page complaint, LaShawndra Harris claims Jessica McBride of Cahokia "rammed into the back" of her mini van causing injuries to her and her four children on Sept. 9, 2003.
Harris is seeking damages from Jessica's parents, Gary and Cindy McBride.
"I am suing for $100,000 plus in damages for my four kids and I," the complaint states.
She also is seeking monetary damages for damage to her mini van.
