Acting U.S. Attorney Randy Massey announced that in honor of National Missing Children's Day, and in support of the Attorney General's Project Safe Childhood initiative, Operation Safe Kids fingerprinting events will be held at various locations in St. Clair, Madison and Monroe Counties on Friday, May 11 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The fingerprinting events were planned by a committee of representatives from the U.S. Attorney's Office; the United States Secret Service; the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division; the Federal Bureau of Investigation; the United States Marshals Service; the East St. Louis, Granite City, Pontoon Beach, O'Fallon, Fairview Heights, Columbia, Cahokia, Maryville, Troy, and Glen Carbon Police Departments; and the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department.
