Steve McGlynn has lost his bid for election to the Fifth Appellate Court to Saline County Circuit Judge Bruce Stewart.
With 1,107 of 1,434 precincts reporting, Stewart, a Democrat, had 52.50% of the total or 156,615 votes. McGlynn, a Republican, had 47.50% or 141,727 votes.
