Soccer for Fun sued in Madison County

By Steve Gonzalez | Sep 7, 2006

A man injured at Soccer for Fun in Pontoon Beach filed suit claiming a wall and pole in the area he was using was not protected by rubber or some other protection device.

Rodolfo Trejo claims the facility failed to use reasonable care in their dealings with the public to avoid the infliction of injury or distress.

He claims Soccer for Fun failed to properly repair the area that was unprotected, failed to warn him of the dangerous condition, failed to inspect the area which was unprotected and negligently allowed this area to remain unprotected causing him to come into contact with the unprotected area causing head injuries.

Trejo claims his injuries caused him to suffer a disability, experience pain and suffering, lose wages and incur medical expenses.

Represented by John Hustava of Collinsville, Trejo is seeking damages not to exceed $65,000 to fairly and reasonably compensate him for his damages.
