  • Englar claims that while aboard United Flight 250 on Feb. 6, 2005, she sustained a left knee injury from tripping over the flight attendant who was storing her luggage in the overhead bin. Englar is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

    Michael Bassett v. Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company

  • Bassett claims Grinnell refused to pay him for his underinsured motorist bodily injury claim after he sustained permanent injuries in an auto accident on Oct. 7, 2004. Bassett is seeking $250,000 in damages plus attorney fees and costs of the suit.

    Kathy Viox and David Viox v. The Kilian Corporation, Asphalt Sales and Products and United Fire and Casualty Company

  • Kathy Viox claims that on May 29, 2004, she sustained injuries while biking on a Madison County bike trail when a plastic fence blew into her pathway and snagged the end of her handle bar causing her to fall. David Viox claims loss of consortium. The plaintiffs' are seeking damages in excess of $150,000.

  • Hollingsead claims the defendants failed to make installment payments for 380 shares of stock for River Bend Contractors they agreed to buy. Hollingsead is seeking damages in excess of $119,709.51.
