Rosella Oliver filed a personal injury suit against O'Fallon Health Care Center in St. Clair County Circuit Court March 7 seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
Oliver claims that while she was a resident at O'Fallon Health Care Center, the nursing home failed to provide her with adequate supervised care.
She also claims the nursing home failed to notify her doctor with significant health changes and failed to provide 24-hour nursing services, seven days a week, to meet her needs after being admitted.
According to the complaint, Oliver sustained injuries on Nov. 5, 2005, which caused repeated pain and suffering, mental anguish and emotional distress.
Oliver is represented by James Williams of Williams, Caponi and Associates of Belleville.
