Jerry Coonrod, as special administrator of the estate of Betty A. Coonrod, deceased v. Gateway Regional Medical Center and Pfizer

  • Coonrod claims that Gateway failed to protect patients from suffering heart attacks while waiting for treatment in the emergency room on May 12, 2004. He also claims his mother's heart attack was caused by taking the prescription medication Bextra. Coonrod is seeking damages in excess of $1.1 million.
