Locklear Electric v. Kensington Lighting

  • Locklear claims that prior to Kensington sent one unsolicited fax in violation of the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Locklear is seeking damages under $5 million total for the entire class or $1,500 in damages for each separate violation.

    Janell Starkey v. Accor Hotels dba Motel 6

  • Starkey alleges she was injured when a bathroom mirror fell from the wall and cut her right leg on Aug. 10, 2004, at the Motel 6 in Caseyville. Starkey is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

  • Ahrens claims he lost the use of his left hand after it was struck by a steel I-beam on Aug. 14, 2004. Ahrens is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 plus costs of the suit.

  • Harris claims an employee of Grossman allegedly collided with her on April 14 on I-270 in Maryland Heights causing serious and permanent injuries. Harris is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

  • Lofton claims Allie was exposed to benzene while an employee of Monsanto from 1952-1982 which led to her death from AML on Dec. 10, 2003. Lofton is seeking compensatory damages in excess of $150,000 and punitive damages in excess of $150,000.
