Ralph Shaw v. Lincoln Electric Company et.al.

  • Shaw claims that he was exposed to manganese-containing welding fumes which resulted in neurological injuries and claims that the defendants intentionally and recklessly concealed and misrepresented the health hazards of manganese in welding fumes. Shaw is seeking damages in excess of $4.3 million plus costs of the suit.

    William Lee, Corolynn Lee v. Praxair Inc. et.al.

Lee's wife also is seeking damages for loss of consortium. The Lees are seeking damages in excess of $4.9 million plus costs of the suit.

  • Sarginson claims he was permanently injured on Aug. 2, 2003, when Jordan allegedly collided with him on Route 162 in Pontoon Beach. Sarginson is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

  • Halloway claims the defendants deviated from the standard of care on Jan. 16, 2004, when they allegedly failed to identify ionic contrast dye prior to injecting it into his spinal canal. Halloway is seeking damages in excess of $300,000.

  • Laird claims he suffers from respiratory illness after breathing Syntilo 9918 manufactured by Castrol while working at Owens-Illinois plant in Godfrey. Laird is seeking at least $600,000 in damages.
