  • Defendant’s motion to compel examination of plaintiff was denied by Circuit Judge Andy Matoesian. Wood was not required to attend a rehabilitation exam.

  • Defendant's motion to dismiss Young’s third amended complaint was continued until May 12, 2005, at 8:30 a.m.

  • Judge Matoesian dismissed the complaint without prejudice; Lakin’s motion for sanctions was not heard.

    Mark Eavenson, Daniel Jones v. State Farm Insurance
  • Plaintiff’s motion to compel was denied by Circuit Judge Andy Matoesian. Matoesian also ordered plaintiffs to file their response to State Farm’s motion to compel arbitration by May 27.

  • CSR Ltd., Alberici Construction, General Gasket, and United Refractories were dismissed from this asbestos case. Judge Stack set a trial date of June 13 in Courtroom 327 for defendants Georgia-Pacific, Ingersol-Rand, and Foseco.

  • Judge Stack dismissed Graybar Electric, Cooper Electric, General Gasket, and Okonite and set a June 13 trial date for Monsanto, Georgia-Pacific, and Bondex. John Crane filed a motion to dismiss the complaint.

  • Defendant Welco’s motion to strike prayer for punitive damages in Count II was granted by Circuit Judge Daniel Stack. Welco also filed a motion to dismiss based on forum non conveniens.
