Roofing contractor sues claiming breach of contract

By The Madison County Record | Feb 24, 2015

A roofing contractor is suing a Columbia business alleging he has not been paid as agreed.

Robert Brown of Madison County filed suit against ASAP Contracting and Roofing claiming that by terms of their agreement he was to be paid a schedule of payments based on his production of re-roofing contracts.

Brown claims that ASAP has not compensated him even after reasonable requests, "and failed and refused to respond to requests for itemization of amounts due and payments of amounts due."

Brown claims that officers of the corporation have informed him that he is owed well over $50,000 and "reasonably believes that the amount due him is more in the range of $75,000."

He is represented by Edward T. McCarthy of McCarthy and Allen of Edwardsville.

Madison County Circuit Court case number 15-L-153.
