A man is accused of failing to pay back more than $55,000 on his student loan.
National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-3 filed a lawsuit against Aaron Bievenue on Sept. 17 in Madison County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Bievenue borrowed money in 2007 to pay for his education. The loan was later sold or transferred to National Collegiate Student Loan Trust.
National Collegiate contends Bievenue has failed to make payments on the account as agreed. It accuses the defendant of defaulting on the loan and asks to be awarded $55,808, the owed principal plus accrued interest, along with court costs.
Attorney David Olefsky with Blitt and Gaines PC in Wheeling represents National Collegiate Student Loan Trust. The complaint does not indicate where Bievenue lives.
