A service agency claims it has not been paid nearly $80,000 for work its employees performed.
Professional Therapy Services filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against VNA Homecare.
In its complaint, Professional Therapy Services alleges it entered into a contract with VNA on Sept. 26, 2007, in which PTS agreed to provide in-home services to VNA clients. Since August 2013, VNA has failed to pay PTS for its services, according to the complaint.
In addition to the money it claims VNA owes it, PTS is seeking costs, interest and attorneys’ fees.
