A Collinsville woman is suing another driver after a collision left her injured.
Andrea Gilbert filed a lawsuit Jan. 9 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Merine Hull of Granite City, citing negligence.
The complaint states Hull made a left turn without yielding on a green signal at the intersection of state Route 157 and Ramada Road on Feb. 25, 2012, turning into Gilbert’s path and causing a collision. Gilbert states she suffers severe and permanent injuries as a result of the incident.
Gilbert is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
She is being represented by private attorney Shaun Falvey.
