Republican David Dugan secured the Madison County circuit judge seat he was appointed to last year after John Barberis Jr. was elected to the Fifth District.
Madison County Circuit Judge David Dugan, who is running on the Republican ticket for the seat he currently occupies, said he believes in an “independent judiciary” that is “above the fray of politics” and is troubled by the political makeup of the Madison County judiciary.
EDWARDSVILLE – Madison County Circuit Judge David Dugan announced Aug. 25 that he is running on the Republican ticket for resident circuit judge in the November 2018 election for the seat he currently occupies.
East Alton attorney David W. Dugan has been picked to fill a vacancy in the Third Judicial Circuit, created when former circuit judge John Barberis was elected to the appellate court in November.
