BELLEVILLE – A motorcyclist alleges a distracted driver rear-ended him, cauing at least $50,000 in damages.

Donald J. Arban filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Ashley L. Taylor alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 14, 2014, he was operating his motorcycle in the city of Fairview Heights when defendant caused her vehicle to run into the rear of his motorcycle. The plaintiff claims he was injured, resulting in disability, disfigurement, great pain, mental anguish, loss of earnings and medical expenses.
