Cleaning services provider accuses Griffiths Tank Lines of breach of contract

Late 03

BELLEVILLE — A cleaning services provider is suing Griffiths Tank Lines, a tank trailer owner, for allegedly failing to pay for the services.

Qualawash Holdings LLC filed a complaint on Sept. 16 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Griffiths Tank Lines Inc., alleging the tank trailer owner failed to comply with the contractual agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in May 2015, it began servicing the defendant's tank trailer on an open account agreement and fully performed its obligations as ordered by the defendant. To date, the balance of $62,458.41 remains uncollected, the suit says

The plaintiff alleges Griffiths Tank Lines did not object to any of the plaintiff's invoices but has failed and refused to pay the invoices.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for actual damages amounting to $62,458.41, plus interest, costs for this action and any other relief the court deems proper. It is represented by Sheena R. Hamilton of Dowd Bennett LLP in St. Louis and Catherine Depaolo of Trenam, Kemker, Scharf, Barkin, Frye, O'Neil & Mullis PA in Tampa, Fla.
