BELLEVILLE – A motorist is suing over injuries she allegedly received in the course of an automobile accident.
Artravia Young filed the suit April 28 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against David Long.
On Dec. 29, 2014, the plaintiff was driving a vehicle heading westbound on Highway 64/40 near its intersection with South 14th Street in St. Louis, the suit says, adding that at the same time and place, Long was also driving his vehicle westbound on the highway. Due to his alleged negligence, Long's vehicle struck the rear of Young's, causing her injuries, the suit alleges.
The injuries included those to her neck and back, and she continues to accrue medical bills to treat those injuries, the suit says.
Young seeks monetary damages in excess of $50,000, court costs and any other relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Shaun M. Lieser of the Lieser Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
