BELLEVILLE – A St.. Clair County resident is suing over injuries he claims he suffered at a nursing facility when a resident allegedly attacked him.
William K. Johnson filed the suit March 7 in St. Clair County County Court against Park Haven Care Center in Smithton.
According to the complaint, Johnson claims he was attacked by a resident of the center, named Brian, when he was allegedly shoved off his feet. As a result of the attack, Johnson alleges he suffered a hip injury that required surgery.
The plaintiff seeks damages of $300,000.
