A male passenger on a transit bus is suing over injuries he allegedly sustained in a collision between a vehicle and the bus.
Prester L. Graves filed the suit on Nov. 6 in Madison County Circuit Court against Anna Lee Rodriguez, Eric L. Fry and Madison County Transit.
According to the complaint, on March 9, the plaintiff was a passenger on a defendant transit bus that was loading passengers at a bus stop. A vehicle, operated by the defendant Rodriguez, failed to reduce speed and struck the rear of the bus.
In addition, the suit names Fry as a defendant, who was operating the bus, for failing to keep a careful lookout in order to avoid the collision.
Madison County Transit is also named a defendant for the collision and the plaintiff's alleged injuries.
The plaintiff seeks a judgment against all three defendants of $50,000 each, along with court costs and attorney fees.
